Hello. My name is ThunderCavalier, and I'm just a random person that plays video games and watches Halo machinimas. Due to the latter, I have a wide knowledge of machinimas, their makers, and the essential elements of the elements of the episodes.

First off, I have a love of video games (which is how I obviously stumbled upon Halo machinimas on YouTube), and have been playing them since I was 6 or so. My primary favorites are RPGs, followed closely by FPSs, followed by TPSs and RTSs. IN case you had absolutely no idea what I had just said, my primary favorites are Role-Playing games (Final Fantasy, Knights of the Old Republic, etc.), followed by First-Person Shooters (Halo, Call of Duty 4, etc.), followed by Third-Person Shooters (Gears of War, Star Wars: Battlefront II, etc.), and RTSs (Age of Empires, Halo Wars, etc.). The game series that I particularly enjoy are, in no particular order:

I have access to a PS2 and a Wii, and I own a Xbox 360, a DS, and a gaming computer.

Finally, before you ask, I DO NOT have XBL. Yes, sucks for me, but I have three friends that have a 360, Halo 3, and XBL, so that's not really a concern for me.

Yes, I read books. Who didn't see this coming? My favorite pieces of fiction are pretty much anything that involves violence and people dying. If it has the slightest hint of violence, people dying, and a deep plot, I'll probably be drawn into it. The only series worth noting that I read that many people will actually recognize are:

I'm also planning on buying the Halo series of books once I can find all of them in a bookstore. I'm also a major fan of Role-Playings and Fanfictions, as you will see later on.

Yes, this later on. I like writing, and primarily my works of fiction either revolve around Halo, Star Wars, or something like an anime setting, not entirely based on one certain kind of anime, but more of an orignal settings in an original world made from borrowed elements of certain animes and video games. And before you ask, yes, I like anime and mangas, although I can never find any place where I can watch anime or read any mangas, so my knowledge on said subject is limited.

Anyway, the two sites where I usually post my fanfictions and join in Role-Playings are:

I listen to a handful of songs from many different artists, but I do have preferences to certain bands. The bands I like from most to least favorite are:

  1. Linkin Park
  2. Yellowcard
  3. Breaking Benjamin

The rest of the songs I enjoy are various works from different bands, such as Rooftops from Lost Prophets and Monsters from Matchbook Romance. I've never really had a direct favorite, although I do own a Linkin Park album. I do not own any other music albums. I've tried on numerous occasions to purchase the Halo 2 and 3 soundtracks, but could never find either.

Ok, you're probably wondering why this is on an entire different section, right? Well, this is mainly because this is called the Halo Machinima wikia and because I enjoy Machinimas, this one gets its own category. The machinimas I enjoy and watch regularly are:

I also watch various individual machinimas on Machinima's YouTube channel (since I'm most accustomed to YouTube rather than Machinima.com). Some notable ones are The Mombassa Massacre and The Bag Boy.

Finally, to finish off this setion, the machinima series I'm currently beginning is the Halo 2 part of Red vs. Blue, Red vs. Blue: Reconstruction, and Fire Team Charlie.

This is where I post a machinima that I particularly enjoyed watching. Every month, I update this section with a new machinima that I wish to draw attention to. Sometimes, they're standalone Machinimas, and other times they're parts of a Machinima series.
