Maksil'ee was a Zealot in the Covenant until the Great Schism. He formed a Covenant Remnant Faction called the Alliance. He and Nyra were allies until Nyra discrovered the truth behind the Halos. This resulted in a war over Shield World Eclipse. He fought alongside Safe, Mraz, and Zxyl. He and Nyra confronted each other atop a crumbling Forerunner Tower. This final fight resulted in Maksil'ee's death. His body was locked in a casket on the cliff the tower had been on. The activation of The Fortress led to Maksil'ee's rebirth as Pheare. He is currently in combat above the Sandtrap desert on Shield World Shadow.
